After more than ten years of documentary work, UNTOLD The Porn Makers will officially launch its own streaming platform from August 28th to 30th, 2026.

This creates, for the first time, a place where long-term documentaries can be published independently – without editorial guidelines, without platform filters, and with space for longer documentaries, interviews, archive material, and new productions.

To kick off the launch, UNTOLD The Porn Makers LIVE, a three-day documentary livestream experiment, will take place in Berlin.

During the event, several protagonists of the documentary series will come together for a joint production weekend. Documentary interviews, discussions, creative collaboration, and the creation of new content will be documented in real time.

Unlike classic reality TV formats, DPM LIVE sees itself as a documentary observation. The focus is on people, their stories, their perspectives, and the dynamics of a group that has been part of this long-term documentary for years.

At the same time, the film crew is documenting the entire process for future productions on UNTOLD DPM.

More than ten years of documentation

Since the start of the project, filmmaker and photographer Sahin Dellemann has followed people from the German adult entertainment industry for many years.

Careers began, changed, or ended. Friendships were formed. Relationships developed, ended, or began anew. Life paths took unexpected turns.

Over the years, this has resulted not only in an archive about an industry, but also in a long-term portrait of the people behind the public images.

The film's approach combines elements of classic fly-on-the-wall documentaries with the patience and long-term observation of slow documentary filmmaking. Instead of short-term reports or individual interviews, the project follows people over years, documenting changes, decisions, relationships, and life paths in their natural development.

This creates not a snapshot of an industry, but a long-term documentary portrait of the people who are part of it.

Today, the project already comprises more than 30 released episodes, including additional interviews, behind-the-scenes footage, deleted scenes, and other archival material. Work is also underway on further episodes, a feature series with, among others, Jason Steel, Lena Nitro, Jean Pallett, Frank Novelle, Lulu Gun, Dave Snake, and Christy Ley, as well as a documentary film, which is currently in its final stages of production.

Why a live stream?

Documentary films usually only become visible once the events have already been filmed, selected, and edited.

DPM LIVE takes a different approach.

For the first time, viewers have the opportunity to witness parts of the documentary process as it is being created. Conversations, creative decisions, collaborations, and personal encounters are not only visible in the finished film, but can be followed in real time.

Selected program elements also allow for direct interaction between the audience and participants.

Why create a separate platform?

After more than a decade of production, the question increasingly arose as to how the long-term documentary should be released in the long term.

Part of the archive was initially released via Patreon. The response to additional interviews, longer versions, and background material showed that an audience exists for more in-depth documentary content.

At the same time, the limitations of external platforms highlighted how difficult it can be to publish long-term, independent documentary projects. The decision to create UNTOLD DPM was therefore the next logical step: a proprietary streaming platform that enables a direct connection between the audience and the documentary.

UNTOLD DPM enables the release of longer versions, in-depth interviews, additional background materials and ongoing documentary projects without the limitations of traditional platforms.

DPM LIVE marks the official public launch of this new platform.

UNTOLD DPM will go live in its first beta version in the coming days. We'll keep you updated on new features, releases, and next steps.

Further information about DPM LIVE, the participants and the program will be published shortly.
